Price Guide

Know that I strive to work as efficiently as possible. When you support my small business, you will receive complete transparency in the form of a detailed invoice, spelling out how the time working on your piece was spent/how the total cost came to be.

My goal is to be accessible, so if an estimate comes to more than you budgeted for, please feel comfortable communicating that - we can most likely work something out. :)

What is the average cost for refinishing services?

Refinishing averages $60/hour. This includes stripping, sanding, re-staining/painting, top coat application, and any applicable touch up repair to holes/scratches/etc.

What is the average cost for structural repair services?

Structural repair averages $80/hour. This includes services such as broken leg repair, joint repair, and improving overall stability. Only professional, marine-grade epoxy is used when addressing foundational flaws. Any repairs are then color-matched to the original finish using high quality oil paint.

What is the average cost for reupholstery?

Reupholstery averages $50/hour. This process involves the removal of old fabric/staples/nails, sourcing new fabric, along with the installation of the new design.

How are sourcing services priced?

Hourly Rate: $75/hour for online sourcing and bidding.

Commission: 20% of the final purchase price (after auction house fees).

Hourly rate includes the time spent accumulating a list of multiple items that fit your requirements/desires. Once an item is decided on, I bid on your behalf after discussing a spending limit. Payment method is required upfront - your card is what’s used on file during bidding. This avoids any risk on our part, of a customer’s failure to reimburse.

If your item is won, an additional commission charge of 20% of the winning bid is applied to your total bill. If your item is not won (the winning bid exceeded your price limit), the cost drops to a flat rate of $50.

What is the average cost for re-design services?

Basic Painting: $45/hour for a simple paint job.

Stenciling or Multi-Color Design: 10% to 15% is added to the base price for each additional technique.

Complex Designs: For intricate work, cost varies depending on the complexity and size of the item.

Pickup/Delivery costs?

The IRS standard is $0.70/mile for commute cost. Item needs to be reasonably accessible (on first floor/in garage/etc.) in order to ensure nobody gets hurt/further damage is not caused during the moving process. It is the customer’s responsibility to hire movers in cases where my form of transportation does not meet the object’s size requirement/for especially heavy or delicate items.

Note: First time customers get their first pickup/delivery at no charge (if the item fits in our vehicle, and commute is 60 miles each way, or under).

Are materials included in the cost?

No, materials are not included in your estimate. You, as the customer, will receive itemized receipts when the work is completed.
